Amazigh

Inspired by a photo of a woman from Marrakesh. The Amazigh have lived and migrated throughout North Africa for centuries. Major populations are found in Morocco and the frame for this piece was custom made in Marrakesh. Her head wrap and clothing are traditional for the Amazigh culture. Scale is life size and the face is plaster cast. The product Paverpol was used to harden the fabric components. Amazigh is available to purchase.
