Little Britches
This piece depicts a 4-year-old not quite ready to be a rodeo contestant. The Little Britches Rodeo was founded in 1952 and gives children ages 5 to 18 the opportunity to compete in various rodeo events. This sculpture is life sized plaster cast finished in iron and mounted on a revolving base. Little Britches was exhibited in Santa Fe at Art Santa Fe July 22-14, 2024. Venice Carnival
Inspired by the Carnival of Venice. This life size sculpt is a fusion of plaster and Paverpol treated fabric. Venice Carnival was exhibited in Santa Fe, NM on July 12-14, 2024 at Art Santa Fe and sold to a couple visiting from Chattanooga TN.


Amazigh
Inspired by a photo of a woman from Marrakesh. The Amazigh have lived and migrated throughout North Africa for centuries. Major populations are found in Morocco and the frame for this piece was custom made in Marrakesh. Her head wrap and clothing are traditional for the Amazigh culture. Scale is life size and the face is plaster cast. The product Paverpol was used to harden the fabric components. Amazigh is available to purchase. $4100 excludes shipping


HOPE
"Hope" is a Pueblo woman holding a crucifix. She is depicted in authentic vintage attire. Her facial expression captures a sense of hope. The art medium is 3-D Mixed Media life size plaster cast sculpture finished in iron and mounted on a 24" x 36" frame. WAR BONNET

BUFFALO TRACE
This piece depicts a mid-1800’s Apache elder in ceremonial attire. Buffalo trace refers to the path carved by migrating bison that was used by Native Americans and later became a vital land route used by settlers. Face and torso are plaster finished in iron with acid(s) to rust for patina. Breastplate is authentic coyote bone tube and stretched buckskin. Scale is 1:0 and weight is 55 lbs. MALI
Mali, located in West Africa, originated the art of face painting. The white dots symbolize hope, purity and light. The cloth background is authentic mud cloth woven in Mali. The earrings and necklace are actual 1936 coinage used in Africa. This frame was custom made in Marrakesh, Morocco and is detailed by animal bone forming the tiles and the black segments dyed with henna ink.
